Join ‘Fearworms’ Creator Robert Payne Cabeen for ‘An Afternoon of Horror’

As the leaves begin to change and a strange chill fills the air, there is no doubt that Halloween will soon be here!  For fans of the frightfully fun holiday and those who love all things horror, the Horror Writers Association is getting into the spirit of the season with their upcoming event, An Afternoon of Horror II at the Pasadena Central Library.

Taking place on Saturday, October 4, 2014, from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., attendees will have the chance to hear members of the Horror Writers Association discuss current industry topics in panel discussions, followed by a mini-con of the authors selling their books and signing autographs. Fanboy Comics’ own Robert Payne Cabeen, author of Tainted Treats and the upcoming Fearworms: Selected Poems, will be in attendance from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. with copies of his books and high quality art prints available for sale.

The Horror Writers Association is a non-profit organization of writers and publishing professionals around the world, dedicated to promoting dark literature and the interests of those who write it. HWA was formed in 1985 with the help of many of the field’s greats, including Dean Koontz, Robert McCammon, and Joe Lansdale. Today, with over 1250 members around the globe, it is the oldest and most respected professional organization for the much-loved writers who have brought you the most enjoyable sleepless nights of your life.

We hope that you will join this exciting event to not only hear the talented and accomplished members of the Horror Writers Association discuss what is near and dear to their hearts, but also for the chance to pick up great, new, horror-themed works just in time for Halloween!
